It's amazing how quickly things can change. I've known from very early on that I wanted to marry Mr. Helstrong.  But if you had talked to me a year ago, or even nine months ago I would have told you that I wasn't *quite* ready to get engaged.  Fastforward to today and I am sooooo ready.

I picked out rings I like, we talk about it ALL the time, and I just wanna scream I'm so ready. I just watched the Bachelor wedding with Molly and Jason and I totally cried. Partly becuase hello-they are so cute together, and partly becuase I wanna have my day. I wanna stand up infront of all my friends and family and declare my love for him forever.

@sweetnote- I'm with you.. if it downpoured on me like that... I would not have been holding it together so well!

@Iluvdance- Exactly!! We went ring shopping back in October. Then I was like "oh I can wait a bit" now that he finally admitted he's paying for it... I want him to pay faster!!

I hope it happens soon for you! It is so exciting to call people and run around to friends houses to tell them =) We were still in college when we got engaged so we ran all over campus to tell everyone. Good Luck!

Hi! I would have been watching the bachelor wedding, but bf and I were talking about our relationship. I really want the proposal. REALLY. We can all have a virtual party here when we do get engaged!!! (For the first time, I just realized why people have engagement parties!!!!!)

Yes we'll need to have a little party, similar to the post-a-thons :)

My SO was gone during the bachelor wedding, but when he got home I told him I was sooooo ready.  He looked at me and told me that my time was coming, to calm down lol. Easy for him to say!  He then said it'd be sooner rather than later, I mean really what's that supposed to mean!!??

Good thing I love him ;)

@Gocubbies- I'm glad that you've gotten the line too.  I still don't understand what it means.  Whatev!!  I hope it's soon for us all!!!

Sooo.... Why does he do this to me?? He's always keeping me on my toes.
Last night when he got home from his friends house I told him how watching the Bachelor wedding made me feel and that I wasn't trying to rush him or anything but I"m soooo ready ;)

He then told me that it'd be sooner than later, as if I know what that means.
So today I'm bored at work, I go to Facebook on my phone and I'm leaving him a little message. I see he's having a conversation with a friend about if they can get him a discount on some rims he wants to buy for his car.

Mind you, recently we discussed not putting too much money into his car because it's kind of a piece and I'd rather we saved that money for a new car.  The other day he told me that he neded new rims to have better luck when he sells it.. whatever, don't really care. I was mostly just said that he was talking about buying rims but I was being selfish and wanting that money to go to my ring. Bad I know.

Soo.... he ends up emailing me at work (we actually work at the same place) telling me that he found the rims he wants for super cheap. So I ask if he's buying them soon?  The conversation then proceeded like this:

Him: Yes I'd like to get rims this summer. But not until your ring is paid off...

Me: You're good at reading my mind. (I just meant that he'd buy my ring before buying rims that I don't think he needs.)

Him:  Yes I thought you might like to know when I'm buying the rims as it will narrow down your timeline.

Me: ooooooo I hadn't even thought of that. 

Him: Yes, keep in mind that for me the summer is May to September.

Sooooo this could be good or bad.  He could end up paying off my ring in like August and buying rims in September... which would go along with the original timeline I figured we had.

But.... it could also mean that my proposal is coming sooner than I thought.  I hate the waiting... he keeps giving me more and more hints, but still not enough haha. I'm so impatient.

@Abbee- or maybe April?  HAHA  I'm fooling myself here.

@Ms. Teddy- I know right?  If someone else tells me they are engaged or pregnant.. I might snap.  I really shouldn't feel that way as most of the people close to me are not doing either... but sometimes it feels that everyone is.   I hope you get yours soon too :)

He accidently gave me another hint.  It now appears that my engagement ring will be paid off by June at least... which just confuses me when I try to figure out how.
