I agree that he really needs to see a dentist.  I think a mouthguard will help with some of that noise and annoyance.

He ought to see a dentist, but until then…get him a basic dental tray to see if that stops the problem. If you can’t find a simple plastic one, buy a cheap whitening kit and just use that tray. I used to clench my jaw and grind my teeth in my sleep during stressful periods, so I used a whitening tray to stop it. It should be the one piece though, not the tray for uppers and tray for bottom. You can buy a basic dental tray for $5-10 at a CVS or Walgreens though.

oh sorry, it’s a drug store. Those sorts of things should be available at any store that sells over the counter meds and dental stuff like toothpaste and toothbrushes.

I’d have him lie in bed with me to fall asleep, than take himself to the couch. Or, the other trick I use when FI is not around, is to pile pillows up on his side of the bed. Good luck!
