My two main colours are apple green (chartreuse) and fuchsia, with splashes of orange (in the flowers). My big plan was to have the girls in different dress styles in fuchsia with apple green sashes and the flower girl in apple green with a fuchsia sash. Finding the right fuchsia shade was a PROCESS. I THINK--am like 98% sure--I found the right shade by Sophia Tolli called lipstick. It's not too pink, not too purple.

The problem now is that colour really only comes in chiffon, which I didn't look at, or satin. I love the satin dresses BUT I don't think any of them will look good with a sash. *cry*

Please, I need your opinions on the dresses we are considering (three girls). I will go find the AG fabric and make sashes myself if necessary as ST doesn't have the right colour, but I think fuchsia dresses with no tie-in to the green will look not so great. Also, I don't really like all the same dresses which is why I wanted different styles, though maybe I need to let this go as the girls will all have different bouquets (orchids, callas, pin cushions). Or, maybe I should just go with chiffon. Will chiffon be strange in September? Could I do chiffon and satin? Satin dresses:

Also this dress, but I think the shape will look funny if there are two girls in sheaths: http://www.tjformal.com/709104/products/Sophia-Tolli-Bridesmaid-Dress-BY11168T.html

Option Four (could do all BMs in this dress): http://www.tjformal.com/638924/products/Sophia-Tolli-Bridesmad-Dress-BY21046T.html

    Thoughts?

The poster after you, Whitney. He has put a ton of these links all over this site, it's an .exe file and could be a virus.

@whit.ney:  I couldn't get the first few links to work, but I do like the last one that you posted. I think for a September wedding I would go with satin (at least where I live, there's the potential to be cold in September and chiffon might be too light), but I think either fabric would be ok if you find the right dress. :)

You have such a cheerful color palate! Could you tie in the green with green ribbons wrapped around the BMs bouquets or by giving each BM an apple green shawl or having them wear green shoes? I agree that a sash probably would not work with options 1-3, since they appear to be gathered or ruched. If you are set on a sash, I would go with option 4. My personal opinion is that dresses 1-3 are something I may wear again, while 4 looks a little more bridesmaid-y, so 1-3 would be my choice. Hope that helped a little! Good Luck Laughing
