by hoop, do you mean a full slip? one that holds the dress shape out in a circle?

In my experience, walking is a lot easier with a hoop. It also kind of holds everything in place. Have you tried walking in it much? How did you find it?

Gorgeous dress! Your figure looks pretty awesome in it!

I’ve been told a hoop or underskirt helps lift the dress off your legs making it easier to walk and also making it cooler as the air can circulate better.

Beautiful 🙂

this is is my dress too!! I have my first fitting next month.

WeddingBelle890:  to answer your questions.. I am wearing a different belt too. Probably a jewel belt but haven’t bought one yet. I’m definitely weairing a hoop! I tried it with and without.. The hoop makes walking much easier. It is a lot more comfortable to have nothing getting stuck between your legs lol.

i must say.. We have amazing taste because this dress is to die for 😉

WeddingBelle890:  I bought my hoop skirt off eBay just to test one and see if I liked it – it was about $15 I think. Totally worth it since it ended up being MUCH better to walk in and just generally made the dress more comfortable and easy to wear. I would recommend getting one if you like the slightly more puffed out look.

WeddingBelle890:  How tall are you? A lot of the eBay ones are aimed at people around 5’3″-5’7″. Mine was about 5 inches too short for me. 😛 It was also a bit scratchy around the joins, but fine for a test run. So if you are quite tall or want large heels, just keep that in mind.

WeddingBelle890:  Oh good, sounds like the eBay ones will probably work for you! 🙂 Have at it, then!
