Haha, I always think of it as a throw-back to when everyone was on dial-up, and a large picture meant that the website would take 10 minutes to load.
I love seeing everyone's pictures!
Is there even an easy way to resize them? I agree, I loooove when there are pictures, and the big ones make them easier to see!
I know that when you upload into the post box it seems huge but I've noticed that the website resizes them for viewing automatically so it really is NBD if your original pic is huge.

(I don't think it's usually worth the effort... so I usually just leave them large, :-P )

@juliejaye: I've always thought this! And sometimes people say it when the pictures aren't even big!
I totally agree! Usually I'm like umm... the picture isn't even that big! I know sometimes they look bigger in the "leave a comment" window than they actually show up in the thread...
I posted about this a while back, too!
I think people come here from a certain wedding message board where pictures have to be uploaded and they show up like postage stamps. It's my #1 complain about that board. The pictures peopel share related to weddings need detail! They need to be big!

I have seen a bunch of posts now where ladies are apologizing for the attached pictures being so large. LOL no apologies! Aren't we all here to gush over each others pictures... the bigger the better! Haha, anyone else notice this?
