Thanks everyone!
The story is short and sweet, which makes me really happy.
I was sitting downstairs after I got home from work, and he yelled down the stairway at me to come up to the bedroom. I sat on the bed, he shut the door, got on one knee and just said "will you marry me?" Lots of nodding and crying ensued, and then we went to dinner together :) It was exactly what I would have hoped for...something private, sweet, no frills, with just the two of us. EEEEEE!!!!!! The ring is a beautiful round solitaire on a plain white gold band. Classic and timeless.

Congrats!! I love all the action that's been taking place on the waiting board in the last few weeks. Hopefully will all get a piece of that luck

WOW! Sorry this took so long! I finally have a few pics to post. The first one is kind of cruddy and doesn't make the diamond look as sparkly as it is (plus, it makes my slender fingers look a little chunky), the second one is my dearest holding it in his hands and it sparkeles nicely:) Thanks for being patient!

But cross me off! I know it was short-lived, but he proposed last night and I couldn't be happier! Hopefully I can get a picture up when I get home from work. Yay!
