I found these cute invites on Etsy and I am really thinking about using them for my wedding. Although I do not know how I feel about printing them myself and if they will look as nice as if I just bought them printed somewhere. Has anyone done printables for their wedding? and how did they turn out? Did they save you money in the end?
I really like these. I was thinking about also doing the luminaries. Tell me what you think. Maybe I am too tired to think straight.

I made our invites (or should say, am still making). I think they were cheaper than if I had purchased pockets with 4 inserts all printed BUT I definetly could have found a fully printed invite for less.

I think they’re gorgeous and it seems like a good idea. My only question is, do you print out those black stripes? That could get expensive fast on a printer. Consider how much your print cartridges are and the quality of your home printer before committing.

I decided to work with her. She put me in touch with a printer in my area. I am buying the paper which is 12.00 for a ream, the printers are charging .20 per color page so since two fit to a page that is .10 per insert. The outside wrap will be .08 and the envelopes I found online at the same place for the card stock for 18.99, shipping for the paper and card stock is 3.99. I am sure that the ribon will be less than .50 each.
So all together I have custom wedding invites fo 1.07 each for 150 plus another .33 for the reception card and rsvp card. I am so excited! I didn’t think something like this would be in my budget. I am really looking forward to this! I am also really happy that I found this wedding board! Thanks everyone!

I worked with a local printer. I just took in my pdf file and had them print it. I had to do a few revisions to the file to get the color to print right on their printers but once I had that straightened out it was really easy!
Usually they give you a quantity discount so try to take all your printing there at once!
