I’ve done South Beach.  I love it!  I never lost 4lbs in a week because I ate pretty healthy to begin with, but I definitely lost each week that I was on it.  If you eat a carb-heavy diet right now, then the first few days will be tough, and you’ll feel tired, but if you get through those days, then you’re going to be feeling great after!  Sorry, I don’t know anything about  the tv dinners.  I home cook all my meals.

I ate allllll day.  For breakfast, I would make omlettes, fritattas, or hard-boiled eggs.  I had string cheese, almonds, and sugar-free jello for snacks.  I made a chunky veggie and chicken soup for lunch or would have a salad.  For dinner I would grill or bake some chicken or fish and have steamed veggies on the side, or if I didn’t have a salad earlier in the day then I would have a salad with some grilled chicken/fish.  Those were just typical things, but there are so many good south beach recipes out there. I would often to go this website for inspiration: http://www.southbeach-diet-plan.com/recipecollection.html. And definitely make sure you’re eating 5-6 times a day to keep your metabolism up, and it should also keep you from feeling hungry.

@trugem: They don’t make the SBD tv dinners anymore. I am bummed because the pizza rocked!! Cry They do have several cookbooks and some healthy choice dinners fall within the SBD range in fat, cals, fiber, protein…
