Hi there hive… so I am doing the South Beach diet to lose 15 pounds before my wedding, in conjunction with exercise. Today was my first day of Phase 1 and I’m already struggling! I’ve done South Beach before, but I don’t remember it being this hard. I didn’t realize how horrible my diet was!
Just wondering if any of you have done or are doing South Beach, and can offer some support 🙂

I know the lack of the bread carbs will be pretty awful at first (i think thats how SB goes?) but you will definetly be able to lose the weight. My boss is going through a no carb diet and she is saying it’s like kicking coffee 😉

I’ve never been a coffee drinker but I quit smoking – and this is worse! It seems like there are carbs EVERYWHERE. And it really doesn’t help that everyone I tell says, “Oh, no carbs is unhealthy! You should do XYZ…” I’m like, “Ugh, permission to give up is NOT what I need, thanks!”
