I am looking for a non beach weddingvenue. It can be on the water but I do got want the ceramany on the beach. My budget is around 30000. We plan on inviting 125 people. I obviously would like to keep things as low as possible. I am having a hard time finding something in my budget, because most of the sites I seem to like would need everything brought it. I really hate the carpets in most country clubs and hotels, but I do think venues that include more than just the venue would likely be best for us. I am open to any type of venue hotel, country club, house, greenhouse, museam. Please help us!!
Also I am Jewish and he is catholic so religous sites.

Yes I hate those carpets too 🙂
What part of S. Florida are you looking at? We are aiming for a reception in Miami (Grove/Gables) but also considered places in Broward and found more reasonable prices there. Didn’t look in the Keys.
Did you check Fairchild Gardens, Vizcaya, Deering Estate, or Thalatta Estate (sp??) They are all pricey and in high demand but a wedding at a non-peak time might work.
Some of our favorites on our “short list” were Coconut Grove Womans Club, the Coral Gables Womans Club, the Old Schoolhouse Museum in Davie, the Barnacle in the Grove (although all the rentals, catering, etc would need to be brought in), the Coconut Grove Sonesta, the Mutiny Hotel (Grove), Red Fish Grill (Matheson Hammock), Cauley Square in Homestead, Coral Gables Country Club and Crandon Park Country Club on Key Biscayne. And of course the Biltmore. I still have pricing/menu info from some of them that I’d be glad to pass along.
It’s looking like we will settle on the Chart House in the Grove… we like everything about it (except for the carpets!)
Sorry- I don’t have any info on religious sites!
