Hi, I’m from NJ and love to knit. I was thinking of knitting a scarf for a friend of mine as a gift, but then started thinking about the fact she lives in southern Cali (between San Diego & LA) and maybe it doesn’t get cold enough there…..
Anyone from that area who can give me a heads up if scarves (not the fashion statement kind, but the winter “its cold” kind) are worn in S. Cali?
Like a scarf like this…

I’m in San Diego and I’d totally wear it. There are days when I might not wear a jacket, but will grab a scarf instead. Then there are days I might want both. I’m originally from the Midwest but you get acclimated to the weather here quickly. 🙂

I lived in SoCal for a few years, and I rarely wore scarves. When I did they were light and made out of cotton.
