We are leaning towards a plantation for our wedding. The wedding will be end of April of next year so it will be completely daylight during the ceremony and get dark maybe around 8 or 830…I can’t rem ember exactly what time it’ll be dark.
Anyway, we will have ceremony on the steps of the front of the house and reception at the back underneath a white tent. There’s a large pool next to the tent as well. I am not a fan of pools for weddings. I dont know why but they just bother me.
Ok so those are the basics so now I need inspiration! What did your plantation wedding look like?

Is this a thing? Plantation wedding? Maybe I haven’t hear of this because I’m from the west coast but this sounds like something that is not okay.

Yes, many people in the south get married at plantation houses.

This is random but look up photos of wedding at the Bellemeade Plantation in Nashville, when I visited there they had it set up for a wedding and I’m still smitten two years later. I wish I lived in Nashville so I could have my wedding there.
