What are you thinking?
I'm getting married in July, so I'm thinking I'll be getting ready in a cute sun dress.
Some comfy pants, a tank top and my "Bride" robe. At least that's the plan. :)
i wore pants, a button down shirt (so i wouldn't mess up my hair and makeup) - it wasn't about being cute but comfy - so i'd be relaxed and calm when the wedding started.
A tank and some shorts and flip flops. Everyone else I know has worn the same kind of stuff.....comfy and comes off easy w/o messing up the 'do!
I wore a Michael by Michael Kors white tracksuit (similar to the Juicy tracksuits). The top was a zipper hoodie so I didn't have to worry about pulling something off over my head after my hair and make up was complete.
Ya I'm thinking something that zips or buttons so I don't mess up the hair! I love the robe idea that may be perfect and super comfy too!
I have no idea! I hadn't even thought about it. lol. Some of the bride stuff at David's and Victoria's Secret is super cute!
A comfy, summery white skirt with eyelet lace around the bottom, and my white short sleeve hoodie (easy to zip off and not mess up hair) that I monogrammed my initial on! And slippers, must have something comfy on my feet, to prepare for a day and night of 4 inch heels!
i am currently doing some shopping for this very reason! well...so far it's online window shopping, but i want something fun =D i am thinking some kind of hoodie/sweats thing that is cute..
My UKOT button down (I'm such a dork but it's blue!) and jeans. probably ballet flats.
I'm going to make a shirtwaist dress in my wedding colors, and I have a vintage yellow cardigan to wear with it. :)
i just wore a white button down shirt of mr. joe's and some shorts. he saw me dressed in it going out to the salon (yes, he saw me the day of the wedding before all the good stuff later), and he thought it was pretty sexy lol
Black trackies (note to self - buy some), a pink tank with "Bride" written on it in diamantes (lent to me by a friend) and a black hoodie with "Bride" written on the back in pink. I'll have to take the tank off before I start hair & makeup, but I'm intending to wear it for as long as possible beforehand :) Gotta milk this baby!
I think I'll wear my lululemon yoga pants or maybe a comfy cotton skirt, and definitely a button-down shirt on top so I don't mess up my hair / makeup when it's time to get dressed!
My favorite sweatpants, a zip-up hoodie top to keep the make-up and hair safe, and my Uggs... flip flops get my heels crackly.
I wore a white button down shirt and a black skirt. I was so glad I didn't have to get a tank top over my head after my hair was done. That would have been nerve wracking.
Probably a bathrobe! The hair person is coming at 8:30 in the morning and my ceremony is at noon, so I don't know if I'm even going to leave my hotel suite before I get my dress on. Or a zipper hoodie & sweats.
I was bumming it, lol. I wore black pj pants with tiny pink hearts and skulls and a large cream hoodie to make it easier to pull down instead of over my head. Other brides in the salon were all dressed up but I wanted to be comfy.
Probably black yoga pants and a button down shirt...so I don't have to worry about messing up the hair/makeup when I take my shirt off....and probably a wool cap, parka, and warm fuzzy slippers beings I'm getting married in December and it's probably going to be 40 below the day of the wedding. lol
I found this pic and liked that it was different from the regular tanks that say bride. I'm thinking about making a shirt like this, just slap on some iron on letters & done!
i made the shirt below for getting ready. I didn't want a normal tank or hoodie and it was stretchy so I just stepped out of it after hair and makeup.
I wore a robe with my "soon-to-be" monogram on it. And I bought robes for all the bridesmaids too. We had fun sitting around the house in our robes and flip flops, drinking champagne.
Missomally: I like those robes, I just got a great picture moment in my head with my BMs and I lounging in those!! Can you share where and how much they are please?
Since we went to breakfast and the salon (and other running around) I wore my Sexy Bride tank top my sister gave me and shorts and flip flops.
I wore yoga pants and a zip-up hoodie... even though it was July I didn't want to have to pull anything over my head, it worked out perfectly :-)
@jingle96 - I got them at a little boutique here in St. Louis called The Cat's Meow, that does embroidery and gifts. I think they were each around $30, with the monogramming. They definitely make for some really cute picture ops!!
Not a great picture, but you get the point... :)
missomally: Thanks! I'll probably start looking online for something similiar or at my local mall even. The picture is cute and I like the concept!
I bought a fun little white strapless dress from VS (that was on massive clearance -woot!) that I plan on wearing for getting ready. I'm also going to make my own "Bride" hoodie!
I love this post because I'm really excited about getting somethiing special to wear! This is so not me, but I want to order a custom tank top that says something cute like "Bride" or future Mrs. __ and a cute white hoodie. I want to wear white all day! :)
I got one the VS sexy little bride hoodies and can't wait to wear it!! But I also might get a shirt or tank that says Mrs. Busch. Or maybe sweats with that, I have no idea. I'll be lucky if I remember to wear the outfit i've already picked out!
I'll be wearing the VS sexy little bride zip up so that I don't mess up my hair and makeup taking it off. :)
I wore one of my husband's button-down shirts and some capri lounge pants from Old Navy with flip flops. I didn't have a button-down shirt that wasn't dressy (like a work shirt), so I borrowed one from The Hubs. I thought it was also kind of sweet to have something of his with me on the morning of the wedding, as we got ready separately.
I made sure to wear something I didn't have to yank over my head after hair and makeup. I wore a zippy hoodie. It wasn't anything fancy but it was comfy and perfect for the relaxed morning.
This was from the wedding I was in two years ago, it was fun!
Probably just some sort of sundress. One of my maids is planning on making me a "Mrs S" hoodie, but I won't wear it the whole time, I don't think.
I LOVE the "I heart Matt" tank. That's adorable.
