i've never had a problem with them rolling down--i wear them all the time. BUT one of my friends, who is more full figured, does have this problem and curses spanx.
I have a pair and I've never had a problem with them rolling down. Those things are so tight they don't budge.
My advice with spanx is to buy BIG. The odds of them rolling increases if they're on the more fitted side. Whatever size the chart says I am, I always go one up and have great luck!
Hmmm. I noticed that they have a strapless slip...maybe I'll try that! My dress is strapless, it might work. That way there is no waistband.
I agree with seashell, the more fitted they are, the more they tend to roll down, but other than that, I love mine!
yeah, you can get the ones that go over your chest as well(but i don't have any problems with the ones that sit right under my bust either)
i am plus sized and i have never had problems with it rolling on me. i am right on the boarded line and i got the smaller ones...no problems here :)
I bought a pair yesterday and the sales lady told me to make sure they were tucked under my bra...no problems with them rolling down that way! lol. As long as you look at the back to get your right size, they will be fine.
I don't have an issue with mine rolling down. The kind I bought (Slim Cognito Hi-Rise) also has straps so it can attach to your bra if you want. I haven't tried this as my dress has cups sewn in.
I always have problems with them rolling down, but I've never bought a pair with straps, so I think that would solve the problem. I am a large woman though. My sister, who is much smaller then I am, doesn't have this problem at all.
Spanx roll when I get the wrong size. .. I have found their sizing to be pretty on point -- so whenever I get smaller or larger than what they say -- I have problems like rolling. Otherwise spanx are the business and they stay where you put them and really give you (1) Smooth flatten out any bulges (2) confidence in how your clothes fit/you look.
Thanks, LAdies! I won't have a bra on, my dress gives me plenty fo support at the bustline. It's the belly I'm concerned about!
I have the power panties in an A and a B (I'm 5'6 solid 120) and both of them roll down about equally. I would get the ones that go up to the rib cage, but my dress has a low back. I just want to find something to hold in the food baby.
I tried one spanx, it was a skirt one that went up to the bra, it was baggy from the waist up.
I went with a Naomi & Nicole body suit. No rolling in the times I've worn it. I just needed it for smoothing out lines on the back of my dress where I have no detail.

I've always had problems with pantyhose that are supposed to flatten your tummy- they always end up rolling at the waist. I noticed that Spanz go up past the wasitline...and I am afriad that they will also roll. How do they stay up? Anyone have issues with them rolling down to the waistline?
