(Closed) sparkler "celebration" (as opposed to send-off)

@giddyspringbride:  Right, so what are people actually going to do with the sparklers exactly? Just kind of…wave them around or what? Because I’m not gonna lie, that sounds pretty   underwhelming.

It would be too much trouble to get 200+ guests outside just to wave some sparklers around. Therefore it would be pointless to me. I can see how this would make for some nice pictures with a more manageable guest size, but that’s the only real benefit that I see.

@giddyspringbride:   My friend did a sparkler lighting at her outdoor reception during the first dance….

Similar to this random photo I found (I think it’s another bee’s photo). Not sure if you can do this, but might be worth looking into.

@giddyspringbride:  I was thinking about doing this, because our ceremony/reception is at a farm with cabins that we will all be spending the night in… so we aren’t really going anywhere to be “sent-off” to; but I still want some sparkler pictures!
