Did you guys register for the attachments (i.e. ice cream maker, pasta roller, etc.)?  Do you think I would be looked at as 'greedy' if I did?

We totally registered for them! We picked the ones that we would use fairly often as we know that we wouldn't use the ravioli maker (I found one at another store that's cheaper and easier to use anyway), the ice cream maker (FMIL has like 5 or 6 different ones), or the pasta noodle one because they aren't shapes we use. We did register for the pasta roller 3-pc set, pasta cutter, and the food grinder one.

We already have two mixers, so of course we registered for the attachments!  Not all, just the ones we'll use,  But why would it look greedy? It's a valid kitchen tool. :)

I love the grinder attachment, and definitely registered for it. (I used my mom's all the time when I still lived with them.)  And I also want the fruit smoosher thing... i forget the real name.  (ah, fruit and vegatable strainer).  homemade applesauce. yum...

We registered for the ice cream maker, which we'll use (I make homemade ice cream now!), and the juicer.

If we need more stuff on the reg, I might add the food grinder. But we registered for the super-duper Cuisinart food processor, so I dunno how much more we need ...

I really wanted the fruit processor piece too.  I think I would use that often.  Not so sure about the other pieces.

We added the juicer and the pasta maker.  I don't think it's greedy at all!  :)

I read the reviews on the ice cream maker attachment and many people said it deosn't work as well as a decidated ice cream maker appliance. So we skipped the attachment and bought a Cuisinart ice cream machine, and we have made ice cream many times now and we LOVE it! So just be careful and make sure that the attachments are as good as you think they are.

This post makes me want to register one. My Fiance told me no because it cost too much. But just because it is on the registry doesnnnn't mean someone needs to buy it right? Wink

That's right!  And it's a great gift for people to go in on together too!

And there's always the completion discount if no one buys it for you!
