- Wedding: June 2011
Ok. I have to make this as quick as possible.
Basically, we’re getting married in a town of about 12,000. There’s only a handful of hotels. BUT, due to the circumstances that this town now finds itself in (read: oil boom. TONS of people coming from diffrent provinces to come work here b/c $$ in the oil patch is amazing), I’m wondering how available the hotel rooms are going to be for my out of town guests (sidenote: 99% of them will be out of towners). Do I send the invites a little bit earlier than 2 months in advance? I was only able to block off 15 rooms at the hotel where my reception is and, assuming both of our families decide to come, we’ll be needing much more than 15.
That said, there are camping options available for our guests too and I know my FI’s family loves to camp but, still. Who wants to get ready for a wedding in a campground bathroom instead of in a hotel room? I don’t know!
