MightySapphire, do you know when your shower will be? I asked my MOH to suprise me. She told my FH that I was trying to torture her, since suprising me is impossible. She planned a bunch of events to keep me off the scent. I've had a very busy few weeks, and each time I went out I would wear some of my nicest clothes wondering if this event was THE event. I'm sure you will love your shower too.
Chela that is my biggest fear!! Wearing cute outfit after cute outfit wishing and hoping it will be my shower Not now, not for a whiiile! but already thinking about how I need to buy many cute new dresses! I think I want to know when my shower is, but I really think it will be impossible for me not to know since most of my bridesmaids are from out of town and we are probably doing the shower and bachelorette in the same weekend. Who knows though, they could be planning something!
HumarockBride. What I did, was I had a great black jersey dress which I would change the accessories for (purple Jackie O type jacket, different necklaces earrings and bracelets). I also had a great black and grey skirt that would pair with different camisoles and cardigans. It was really two main pieces that could be changed for all different things. My FH did tease me that I had worn my black dress a lot the last few weeks. ;)

I just had my shower this past weekend, and lots of special touches were added to make it customized for me. It was the greatest suprise and I laughed so hard I cried. Of the things that were implemented into the shower, was a medly of some of my favorite songs strung together by narrative and strips of song lyrics (sung) to tell the story of my romance with my fiance. It included songs like:
Shai - 'If I ever fall in love again'
BBD - 'Poison'
Jose Luis Perales - "Y Como Es El"
Alanis Morrissette - "Head over Feet"
Crystals - "Going to the Chapel"
I was laughing so hard, I was crying! It was so special and I saw the time and effort put into it. It made it so special. Did any of you have someone do something so creative or so special that it was just perfect and made everything extra special about that day, event, party?
