(Closed) When should we say our speech?

    That’s a little tricky…generally the groom gives a speech at the reception dinner, so if you’re planning on doing your speech with his, then that would be easy. I think if it’s just something you want to say to a small group that doesn’t need to go out to all the guests that will be there on the day, there’s nothing wrong with doing it at the rehearsal dinner instead of the reception.
    I guess all it boils down to is – who do you want to hear the speech, and when do you feel it’s most appropriate?
