I got to the E.R at 6 this morning, didnt leave until 4:30 this afternoon! Yesterday I had a problem keeping any food down, figured I had a stomach bug, woke up this morning feeling like my stomach was on fire and/or I was having a heart attack. This lasted from 3 when I was woken up by it till 5:30am then calmed down after I was already dressed and ready to go to the hospital, i layed down for 5 minutes and bam they came back so off my fiance and I went to the hospital.
While at the hospital kept having awful attacks, turns out I have gastritis caused by stress and the pain was so bad it was causing me to have severe anxiety attack because I was so scared of the pain I was feeling which was making it worse.
I have been working on a portfolio for school so I can graduate in a few weeks that needed to be perfect or I wouldnt graduate, my fiance was giving me crap about never being around because I work a full time job, part time job and go to school two nights a week, and i was having major bridesmaid/wedding drama. So basically I was told by the doctor i need to cut some stuff out. Thank goodness school is over in a few short weeks, i graduate hopefully if my portfolio is good on may 15th, and my bridesmaid drama is over!
Now Im on meds for a while and was told I need a vacation! Too bad I have to wait 6 months to go on one! lol
Just some advice! Try not to stress yourself out too much over everything or you WILL get sick! And trust me it was not a good feeling!

Glad to hear it wasn’t anything too serious. I think this is a really important lesson to learn – just relax, and don’t put too much on your plate

Yikes! Glad they were able to figure out what it was. Sometimes knowing can make it easier.

May I ask, what meds did they give you? Could you get an anti-anxiety medication to just have on hand? I have Klonopin and I take 0.25mg when I need it, but I don’t have to have it all the time. It’s not habit-forming, but it does calm me and help me re-focus my energies when I’m not dealing well with the overload. It’s not as though you can really drop any of what’s stressing you out, but there may be things to help you manage the stress better… and it doesn’t sound like you have much time for a yoga class. :o(

good luck on the portfolio! I remember that time in my life (cutting black boards mounting everything just right, all nighters) it can really wear you down. Try and stay calm and take it all in stride! I have had some stress problems this year as well so I really feel you. Sending you lots of love!
