Let’s see, the cheapest thing I own is a pair of bright orange flip flops that cost $3.99 on sale.  Love those things, I bought ten pairs, in all colors.

The best things in life are free 🙂

  • My puppy
  • All the letters FI has ever written to me
  • The tags from the flowers he has sent to me
  • My necklace that he bought when we were struggling with money – it is “cheap” but it means a lot to me

My breastpump.  Well, it’s not the cheapest thing I own, but it was FREE since it is a covered “medical device” under my insurance plan.  Seriously, I would DIE without that thing.  Well, maybe not die, but I guarantee you DD would be getting formula instead of breastmilk.

@MrsPanda99:  Awww, you are so sweet and sentimental to keep flower tags.  I love that!  🙂

One of my fuzzies, as well 🙂

Found her curled up and abandoned on my street. At first I thought maybe someone just lost her, but no. I tell FI they must have been the most foolish people ever.

Mine is a bread machine I bought at a thrift store for 6 dollars. I’ve had it for 4 years now, it works perfectly and bakes the best bread ever. I use it at least once a week. I also use it to make dough for pizza and other yeast dough stuff (like cinabons, yumm)

My fiance’s truck was a free hand-me-down from a wealthy aunt.  It’s a sweet little Ford Ranger, only 130,000 miles, and quite reliable so far  *knock on wood*

I’m a cheapskate and proud of it.

@Sunfire:  He always writes the sweetest things…I can’t stand to throw them out! He laughs at me, but he secretly likes it when I’m sentimental, lol.

@Nona99:  My bathroom nightlight. It cost $2.99 at Ikea. It actually turns on with darkness and off with daylight like it’s supposed to. It makes the perfect amount of light so you can pee at night without blinding youself. I love it! When it dies I will buy a another one of the same light!

The best thing in my life are the walks I take with my puppy (who will be 3 in october!!) and the free kisses she awards me every single day.

And also matter how busy life is FI and I always eat dinner together unless one of us is traveling – the cost of food is rising, but eating home is far less expensive than eating out.

I would have to say that sex with FI is pretty amazing too, and that doesn’t cost a damn thing!
