My dress is a corset top, so I don’t need to sew in cups.  No bra for me – hurray!  Which never happens, since I am fairly busty.

As a C cup or bigger having cups sews in just don’t offer support. I am a C and I noticed a huge difference in the way I looked with cups vs. a bra so we decided to sew the bra in so that it didn’t move.

Neither. I had bra cups sewn in my ceremony dress, but took them out the last day because I didn’t like how busty they made me look. The reception dress was so tight my boobs barely fit in, let alone anything else.

I think it really depends on the dress – mine had a lot of structure and a low back – so putting cups in was the best option.  At first I thought it would be odd to not wear a bra – but I LOVED IT!

Long line bra – cups are worthless when you’re an F cup!

I have a long line bra that I embellished to wear under my dress. However, the dress is very structured. When I put my dress on, I really cannot tell a difference between wearing the bra and not wearing it. I do, however, notice that my dress fits tighter when I have the bra on. So I guess it will depend on whether I lose any more weight or not. If I do, then I’ll definitely wear the bra so I don’t have to have any further alterations done, but if I don’t then I probably won’t wear it.

If you have a large bust diffinity a bra, cups probably won’t do anything.  I had a corset dress and everyone said I didn’t need to wear a bra (I wear a DD/G) with it.  During the fitting and at first it was great but about 30 mins later my boobs weighed the top down and I had to worry the whole night that I was going to have a wardrobe malfunction.  So I totally recommend some sort of bra (long line/strapless) to keep those puppies up.

I’ll have cups put in because it’s more comfortable.  I’m also small chested, so I don’t need support, I just want everything to be nice and shapely!
