Ehhh on the weekend I might run to the grocery store or out to casual breakfast without showering. But never for work.

@highschoolhoneys:  Yep! I skipped my shower today and look and smell nasty. My heater broke last night and I am afraid to have wet hair in a 50 degree house. Until the heat works, no showering for me or DH.

I skipped showering one morning this week in favor of trying to sleep off my migraine a bit; it was a non-hair wash day anyway and I work alone so it’s not like anyone noticed. I often skip on one of the weekend days as well, especially if I’m not leaving the house.

Occasionally if I’m running late during the week, and sometimes a weekend day if I know I’m not leaving the house or just need to run errands. But I’ll at least grab a washcloth and wash my armpits, lol.

I shower 2-3 times a week but people don’t seem to notice – FI used to think I showered every single day.

My hair is a blessing and doesn’t need to be washed more than that and I don’t have a lot of BO so some deoderant does the trick for me.

I do take extra (sometimes daily in the summer) showers if I do get sweaty because then I know I am actually dirty and will end up smelling.

Weekends running errands? Yep. I brush my teeth and splash some water on my face, but I don’t always shower. If I’m meeting up with people or am going to be out a lot, then I’ll shower, of course. And I’ll never skip more than a day.

On a day off I often get up and do errands or sit around the house without showering.  On a work day, I almost always shower.  This winter has been an excecption – it’s been SO cold and SO dry that my skin is kind of a mess, so I’ve been skipping a day of showering now and again.  It’s not like I’m sweating or anything!

I never skip a day because the feeling of ickiness is too terrible.

@highschoolhoneys:  Never ever. I don’t wash my hair every time but I have at least a quick shower every morning, pretty well as soon as I get up, without fail.

Only if I’m going directly to the gym, ski hill, getting on my bike.  I know I’ll be sweaty again in seconds and I’ll be showering afterwards.  I never go more than about 10 minutes in the morning without brushing my teeth, so that never gets skipped.

I have curly hair.  You will know if I didn’t shower, because it will be a disaster.

I actually purposefully don’t shower every day and it’s not a problem at all. Especially in the winter. My skin is dry as it is, but it gets crazy dry if I shower every day. And every day turns into a frizzy hair day. Most dermatologists actually don’t recommend that you shower daily. Obviously, it’s fine for those that choose to shower daily, but it’s not great for your skin. Now, if it’s the summer or I’m working out and get sweaty, I definitely shower. But if  I’m not being super active, I can go 2-3 days fine.

ETA: I floss daily and brush my teeth at least twice daily. I try to do mouth wash daily, but I’m less good about that.
