Me!! We have so many and no one to play with because they’re so “weird.” For Christmas, FI added to it with “The Politics of Cannibals” and “Wild Fun West.” I may have Agricola, I have to check. I have a TON of Rome based games; Senator, Roman Taxi, Quo Vadis, etc. Settlers of Catan, Smallworld, Carcasonne, Frag, Zombies!!!

We also have a massive card game collection, Gloom (and all the expansions), We Didn’t Playtest This (and all the expansions), Guillotine, Love Letter (also a Christmas present), Chrononauts, Evil Baby Orphanage, Munchkin (and tons of expansions), Space Pirate Amazon Ninja Catgirls (SPANC), Kittens in a Blender, Haha Mustache, Flower Fall, Edition Wars, etc.

I have no idea how many I have. A lot, that’s for sure and they’re everywhere. FI and I had to move back in with our respective parents a few months ago, so he took the big bookshelf we kept them all on. Mine are wherever I could find room for them. I don’t have any pictures, but I can take some later.

That’s really strange about the Game of Thrones thing… Also sad, I rather like Love Letter. It’s simple to play, but still entertaining.

Here! Certainly not as large a collection, but love Munchkin, Settlers, Starfarers of Catan, Dominion (and expansions), Smallworld, Ticket to Ride, Bang, and on and on. One of our recent faves is Fury of Dracula.

Eta: thanks for the new list to check out…

@RenoSweeney24:  We haven’t played those, though Duel of Ages II looks interesting.  DH just played History of the World and found it to be really interesting.  We’ve also recently played Thunderstone Advance and Lords of Waterdeep that were cool.

We’re always on the lookout for good 2 player games.

@RenoSweeney24:  We loved Fury of Dracula.  We don’t own it, so we have to play when visiting friends.

@RenoSweeney24:

I called my FI over to see that photo of your board game collection: we are seriously swooning! You guys must host some epic game nights…

FI and I can’t wait to move in together and combine our collections. Current favorites include Dominion, Munchkin, Ticket to Ride, and (our all time #1) Agricola.  Haven’t seen you list this one yet, but check out Citadels for a really fun, well-balanced strategy game. And we’ve been playing a lot of Rivals for Catan if you’re in the market for a good 2 player game (we actually think it’s a lot better than regular Settlers!).

Do you have any other suggestions for other good 2 player strategy games?

Ok for all of you involved in this thread:

Any suggestions for great 2 player board games?  We have the hardest time finding them!  We don’t have many great game stores near us (at least not that we’ve found yet) and we are heading down this path…two full shelves of our large bookcase are taken up with various games, but only a few are these sorts of games.

@RenoSweeney24 I love how organised yours are!! My SO probably has about 4-500 games but they are stored in the wardrobes of the spare rooms.

I received Zombies! the board game for Christmas so might have to get the expansions for that to add to the collection. It’s supposed to be a reasonably good two player game so I think we will have a go of it on one of our days off soon 🙂
