I'm a pretty low maintenance gal. I love my bare minerals makeup and wouldn't leave the house without it... But I kinda slack on the shaving and my hair air dries good and I hardly ever do anything to it.
Anyway, I'm lucky that SO is more than okay with me not being bare too often.. I trim and keep the bikini line under wraps, but it's rare I totally shave.. How about you girls? Just curious
I will keep things natrual BUT trimmed and tidy. My fiance actually prefers it to be ALL natural but I'm insistant on having it "kept up". In the words of my fiance: "When I'm being intimate with someone I want to feel like I'm being intimate with a real natural woman, they way god intended them to be. I prefer natural because your a woman and I'd like your privates to not resemble a 5 year old girls."
I have shaved everything off before and I get red bumps and it's itchy and irritating!
I shave about once a week, sometimes more but every now and then it is less. FI likes it clean shaven and I feel cleaner when I shave. Neither of us really like my "jungle woman" alter ego hahaha.
I shave everything all off. I shave 2-3 times a week unless I get lazy, then I can go for a whole week without shaving before it gets all itchy.
I'm not entirely sure what my FI prefers down there... I shave it all off because I like it better that way.
I like it all waxed off, but my guy actually likes it when I just leave it alone. He affectionately calls it my "fur patch". He likes to play with it. lol
I got laser hair removal to keep the bikini area under control and I trim the rest. I love it. No more itchy red shaving bumps and no more expensive/painful waxing.
I shave atleast 2 times a week I feel better with it like that but to be honest i dont know what Fi would like better ive never actualy asked him... lol
I shave it whenever it grows back, so maybe once a week? I just like feeling 'cleaner' down there. FI has waxed his man bits from before I met him.... I don't really like much body hair.
Also, I just realised I know that most of my friends shave as well... the fact that I know that about them is kinda weird haha.
Once I went Brazilian I never went back. No more razors near that area, thank you very much!
I prefer to shave it all off. BF doesn't really mind either way, but I just feel more "clean" when I'm shaved.
I usually keep the bikini line waxed and the rest trimmed, but not shaved. I've gone totally bare, and it actually made sex less pleasant. My body prefers to have a small cushion of hair in certain areas during in-and-out activities. At some point in the near future, I intend to do laser hair removal on my bikini line.
My FI doesn't care either way. He likes it when I don't shave for a super long time, and it's long and wild. Which I don't care for myself. So I almost always shave it completely off, becaues I had it waxed and I will never do that again! lol.
I wax the bikini line every month or two, but I keep every thing else. I hate shaving it.
Haha, I voted other! If it's summer and I might be in a bathing suit, I keep just the bikini line waxed. Otherwise, it's au naturale all the way. My fiance prefers it that way, lucky me!!!
Edit: Interestingly, the last time I had a pap the nurse practitioner told me that it was good that I didn't wax/shave it all off, because it helps prevent infections to have the hair there. I don't know if she's right, but I thought it was interesting that what we think of as "clean" looking (no hair) might actually be less healthy.
I keep it very neatly and shortly trimmed and tidy (as does he), but not bare. Like redherring, no hair there makes sex less pleasant. We both prefer a little bit of hair (but not an unruly, completely natural bush).
I thought I always got a brazillian wax but apparently it's called a "hollywood wax" because it gets rid of EVERYTHING, front and back... Needless to say I hate hair. I don't think my FI cares either way.
When we were first together I would shave everything, but then I got lazy and didn't do anything except trim it up every once in a while, and I recently got waxed again and I forgot how much I prefer it! It makes me feel sexier, so I would say it's good for our sex life. lol
You don't have an option for shaving everything. I shave every other day. (can't stand waxing!)
I voted "other"...I epilate! Not everywhere, because that's too painful, but I epilate the bikini line as far in as I can stand it and then use my electric razor to trim down the rest. Once in a blue moon I'll shave (with a straight razor) the bottom bare but I find that that's too much maintenance and also I always seem to nick myself just a bit too close to the, um, important parts. No matter what I do though I simpy cannot touch the front "triangle" other than trimming it...it is SO THICK on me that there is no way to remove it without extreme pain, razor burn, itchiness for weeks...so I just trim it now and call it a day.
And now...I want to go shave. Haha.
I use a "personal trimmer" or whatever they're called and keep it trimmed very short. I don't get bumps that way, but it's closer to the clean-shaven look he'd like. Perfect compromise.
Like another PP mentioned, it actually is healthy to have hair down there. It keeps infections out and all kinds of other bad stuff.

SO likes it short, because it's easier for "special nom activities." >.>
But since we are LDR, I pretty much just trim when I feel itchy.
DH and I both prefer when I'm clean shaven. He trims his bits up regularly too. I hate body hair in general, so I have shaved for years, even before we had sex. I am considering switching to a Brazillian, though. I dislike the maintenance shaving takes. I've gotten less razor burn over time, though.
My SO likes me totally bare. I shave every other day for the up keep. Were now going to try laser braziallan yay can't wait no more shaving. At first it was a shock becuase no other guy ever cared. Now I actually love it and do it without him commenting.
I started shaving my lady bits at the same time I started shaving my legs (around 7th or 8th grade). I couldn't stand hair and found that it helped keep me cleaner during AF time and everything else. Now I shave every time I shave my legs (every other day most times) and can't stand letting it grow for any more than 3 days. I feel dirty!
I've never asked DH what he prefers because well, I've never told him to change anything of his down there...
I alternate between waxing everything off and waxing it all except for a landing strip. I go in every 4 weeks for upkeeping.
I don't know exactly what DH prefers. I do my waxing down there because it is how I feel most comfortable and sexy.
I can't stand any hair anywhere on my body except my head. I get a Sphinx (front and back) every 8 weeks. (I have been doing it for so long, it's now taking that long for my hair to grow back)
Everything feels better with no hair. I can actually feel his mouth. ^_^ Plus, it's not sexy listening to either of us trying to cough up pubic hair like a cat with a hairball.
I used to shave every second day. I have since spent 500 on laser hair removal aside from a patch. No I shave about once a week.
I like him smooth and clean, he expects the same from me.
DH really doesn't care what I do with mine as long as it's not a jungle down there. He trims and shaves, and I shave whenever it gets to a length where it starts annoying me.
It's a toss up. I used to wax but since I'm in an LDR, I just trim it when it gets unruly now. Nobody is around to be messing down there anyway. Once SO gets out here, I'll go back to shaving frequently or waxing, depending on my schedule. I always went bottom and bikini bare, and left a nicely trimmed triangle on top.
@MissCherryLemonade: My FH is the exact same way! He says "I waited all my life to be with a woman. Hair down there is sexy and lets me feel like i'm with a grown woman vs a girl. Why the hell would I want a bald pussy looking back at me" LOL
Side note, thats why he prefers older pornos (and I do to) I don't get the big deal about a bald beaver. I prefer to see a landingg strip, at least.
To maintain I keep a trimed triange (i use hair remover, every couple of weeks on the sides). Every couple of months I may go in for what I call a modified brazilian. I ask them to wax the sides, the lower half of my lips and the bottom. Thats it. FH would not appreciate a kojack down there.
Clean shaven, baby. I only shave once a week though. Save myself from getting irritated. Ick.
I shave everything and have since I started shaving my legs and underarms. I prefer the bare feeling. Luckily that's also what my FI happens to prefer. I usually shave every 2-3 days. Any more frequently tends to lead to razor burn.

I shave everything. I use to do brazillian, but it's so painful and I hate anyone else but my husband down in that area. Shaving is fine with him and I always maintain it by shaving every couple of days.
Just the bikini line for me. Hair is there for a reason! Why would I want to look like a little girl, I'm a woman!
I shave everything or get a full brazilian done. I hated it when my hair grew in down there, so I was thrilled when I discovered that it was acceptable to shave it off a couple years later.
My boyfriend also shaves everything down there.
Most of the time, we only see each other on weekends, so we usually let it grow a bit over the course of the week, and then shave right before we see each other. So I voted for "shave once a week." =]
I tend to trim it up, and FI prefers it that way. I HATE shaving, so I only have done it a few times, like before I had my babies, so FI hasnt gotten to ride that train... lol
