I loved creeping on the post of the bees marrying older men! Are there any of you out there "robbing the cradle" so to speak? 
I am 1 year older than my FI. I didn't know how old he was when we first started dating, I only knew he was younger than me and old enough to get into a bar (so 19 here). I was quite happy when I found out he was no longer a teenager and was in fact 21 lol.
At our wedding, I will be 28 and he will be 27. How about you? I'd love to see pics if you have them!
Hehe. Love this. I'm just a couple of months older than Mr. MJ. I wouldn't quite call it 'robbing the cradle' being that close together though!
Hello fellow Cougar! I too am about 1 year older ( we are born in the same month). I figure its not that huge of a difference, as would 5 -10 years would be, but still wierd since the lady is the older one ;)
I'm 26 and DH is 21... total cougar over here! tehe...
Really though, I was married to an older man previously (was an abusive alcoholic) and dated other older men, only to find that age does not equal maturity or marriage material... SO... after previously turning down DH b/c of the age gap and then being friends for years I put "age" aside and realized that he had everything I had wanted/needed/desired (which I knew from my very extensive list) and went for it!
Been together for 2 years and married for 6 months... and he daily amazes me at the awesome man AND father he is to my (now our) son!
I'm a total cougar. I'm 30 and my FI turns 25 this year. :) Age truly is nothing but a number.
I'm only a few months older than DH, but we were a year apart in school, so when we were in college together I felt "old".
Oh come on bees...we can't be the only ones!!
I'm only about 4 & 1/2 months older than my SO, but he's a year behind me in school, so that's always weird (a little). But I don't mind, he's mature for his age!
I am 26 and my FH is 23. There is almost a full 3 years difference between us.
I am almost two years older than the Mr., which is more of a big deal now in our early twenties. I know it will be nothing as life goes on.
I had no idea how old (er... young) he was when we met. It is strange for me to be older than he is, and it was funny to graduate college a semester before him! When I could drink and he couldn't.... that was awkward and sometimes frustrating for both of us.
Now, out in the 'real world', it hardly ever crosses my mind that he's younger than me. :P
I am 4 months older than him.
@Shel2523: I know what you mean about the school thing being weird. Even tho we're only four months apart I graduated high school a year before and then he sat out before starting college and he's going part time so I've had my degree for two years but he is still just a sophomore. Oh well.
FFIL is about 8 or 9 years older than FMIL. He actually used to be her youth pastor, how weird is that? But they have four sons (SO and 3 FBILs) and each of us girls (me and FSILs) is older than her boy, so I guess that makes up for their parents' big age gap.
I'm 27 and he's 25 (almost 26.) But also, yes, to echo others, age definitely does not equal maturity!

I am exactly 2 years and 6 days older than my FI! I'm 29 and he's 27 right now. It's my birthday first, then 6 days 'til his, then 6 days 'til Christmas, then 6 days 'til New Years. Woo!
Oh, and 216 days 'til our wedding from right now, haha.
The most I've seen so far is five years...I was hoping to see some Demi-Ashton type action on this thread lol :P
@MademoiselleL: Here ya go...my hubby is 10 years younger. :) I'm 38 and he's 28...but somedays I find him waaay more mature than me.
I'm 32, he's 30. The only time I get weirded out by that is when we talk about where we were in 2000/2001 - I was working professionally and he was just starting college. No judgement, but it was just a different perspective on things like September 11, etc.
My FI is more than six years younger than me. I'm 33 and he's 27. When we get married I'll be 34 and he'll still be 27! I used to think only a guy in his 30s would be ready for marriage, but I was wrong :-).
I just turned 29 this week, and my SO is 25. He'll be 26 in 6 months exactly, so that makes me 3 1/2 years older than him! He looks older than he is, so when I met him I didn't believe it when he told me his age. I actually asked to see his license!
I have to say that I do think about our age difference from time-to-time. He is mature for his age, but I'm defintely more mature than him in a lot of ways. But I am grateful that he's mature enough to know what he wants in a wife and in a relationship. I've dated plenty of older guys that were nowhere near ready to settle down. So refreshing to be with someone who loves you AND is ready to take the next step. I'm grateful for him.
He really is a great guy...and already shows signs of being a great father too!

When we met, I was a senior in high school and he was a freshman! We were friends, and I knew he had a crush on me, but I wouldn't give him the time of day back then.
I guess he was right though - cause 12 years later, here we are! :)
I'm 37 and he's 32... sometimes he calls me his sugar mama. Hahaha
I'm just four months older than my husband, but we got married within those four months when I'm older. My husband was excited to marry an "older woman." Dork. :)
I'm almost 32 and he's just turned 24! You'd never know though - by looks or our behaviour 
I'm not a cougar, I'm a kitten! ;) He's seven years younger (we'll be 40 & 33 when we get married), and just like the post above me, you'd never know by our looks or behavior.
@MademoiselleL: Same here! I will be 28 he will be 27. We are about 1 1/2 a part in age. But I honestly forget 99% of the time. & most of our friends and family have no idea. Not that we try to hide it but Everybody just assumes he is older. LOL!
oh yeah! Right now I'm 42 and he's 40 but we're only 13 mos apart. I refer to him as my boy toy.
I'm 1 year, 1 month, and 1 day older than DH! Wouldn't have it any other way!
I'm 6 years older than DH . . . I'm 36, he's 30. We were 32 and 26 when we met. I think we look the same age. It only gets weird when we talk about the late '90s, when I was out of college, working, and in a serious relationship, and he was still in high school. :o
I'm roughly a year and a half older than FI (he turned 25 in December and I'll be 27 in April) but according to him, I'm the one that's younger at heart. (He said that one time when he called himself an "old man", and I told him that I'm older than he was. He's been in the military, which he says ages a person quickly not to mention having undergone heavy metal poisoning which led to him being medically retired. I on the other hand am a lifetime live-at-home daughter with the life skills/experience of a 15-year-old at best.)
I won't be the only one in my family to have married a younger man. My mom is 11 months older than my now stepdad, and my sister's ex-husband (father of her first kid) was a few months younger than her, I believe. And I think on my dad's side of the family, grandma is older than grandpa.
I'm a year and a month older than my FI.
Its funny because his sister is 1 year, 7 months older than her hubby so my SO jokes that women love younger men because we need to be in control lol
7.5 years here....I am almost 37... He is turning 30 this year! It is easy to forget. I actually just turned to him and asked what the difference was again!
I am 31, and my hot little cub is 26. Rarr! It's about a 5.5 yr difference.
I'm married to a younger guy. Not much, he's 2 years younger. When we first met, he was 19 and I was 21 and all my friends made fun of me because he wasn't of legal drinking age yet and wasn't allowed in all the clubs or bars that we were, but now at 23 and 25 it's not a big deal anymore.
I am 47, he is 44...
but he is much taller and bigger than I am. So that makes it "okay"!
I am 33 and he is 28. I tease him that I'm a cougar!
