@okqueenbee:  These are from when we first moved in, so it OBVIOUSLY looks more lived in than this, but this is the color scheme I went with, I love it!

@okqueenbee:  Omg you should see it now, lol! I need to get in there and deep clean, but my 35 week pregnant self is lazy. Haha!

@okqueenbee:   No photos, but mine is mauve.  I cannot wait until we have it redone.

@okqueenbee:  This is before we moved in and a few things have changed (like those ugly sliding doors) but it looks like this with added decor

LOL. This question caused an instant mini-anxiety attack. So messy right now. All 2.5 of them aren’t fit to be seen. But once I revamp them, oh yes, there will be posting…

We also have a 1950’s bathroom (well, 2 of them). Our master bath is a few different shades of pink. In a few years it’ll get a total overhaul, but in the meantime I did a few smaller projects (replaced light fixture, painted the walls and cabinet and mirror, replaced the cabinet door and curtain, etc) to make it feel a little more boutiquey. I’ve added a few more small touches since this picture and it’s actually grown on me a lot.

Our bathroom is small but functional… we have some great built-ins in the adjacent hallway, so that helps with storage space.

@HellaCooper:  Hello fellow pink 1950s bathroom owner!  Our tub is a similar Pepto-Bismo shade to your tile, but I try to keep it covered up with the shower curtain.

@HellaCooper:  I love how you embraced and worked with the pink! It looks totally modernized.

@okqueenbee:  Haha! Our main bathroom has the blue. That will be this summer’s project. My basic philosophy on these 50’s bathrooms is “MOAR WHITE!!!”. It helps to dilute the eye watering effect of these lovely 50’s colors to something much more manageable.

This is our upstairs bathroom. We replaced a very dull and tired avocado bathroom suite and I wanted something fresh and contemporary.
