(Closed) Spinoff: Can newer buildings be haunted?

Yes a newer house/building can be haunted.  We lived in a house for 14 years and never had any strange things happen. Anyway when our house was destroyed in a tornado in 2008 my parents decided that instead of rebuilding the house to just move.  The lot was sold and another couple bought the lot and built their new house on it (small town so we know the couple).  Well I hear from them all the time now that strange things happen there. Nothing sinister but just doors opening/closing, things being moved, shadows etc.

So I’m not sure if its a previous owner, or what.  But I guess that renovations will kick up spiritual activity.
