My vet charges $8 per day per dog 😉 The joys of small community living. They do 5 walks per day, too! They are awesome.

The daily rate for ours is $16.00, but if you buy 10 sessions it’s only $14 a day.

When I lived further north it was $23 and we take her twice a week, so it was super expensive.  They (Petsmart) didn’t offer any packages.

Ours is $25 per dog per day (24 hr period), but they are reputable and have always treated our dogs well.  They’re very good about making sure pets get their appropriate medications and doses.  It is very expensive, though!  On our honeymoon, we spent enough on dog day care to have afforded another roundtrip airplane ticket overseas!

ETA: they charge more for dogs over 100 lbs, and give you a free day for every 14 days of dog day care

Ours is about $25/day, but if you purchase a package I think it comes out to about $18, $38 for overnight boarding, but they give medications, feed, peanut butter kongs (our dog’s fave) and it also includes the day care before and after the night he’s boarded.  So if I wanted to board him Sat, I could drop him off Sat morning and pick him up Sun night.  The thing I love about our doggy day care is that the dogs are not crated.  There are large play pens with an indoor and outdoor area that all the dogs run around in.  It’s really cute to watch the camper cams when we’re away, makes us miss our dog less.

We’re in Southern California where apparently everything is pricier. The place we like the best charges anywhere from $28 to $36, depending on if you are getting a multiday pass or a one day deal. If you have multiple dogs, you can split a pass between all of them. There’s also an unlimited monthly deal for $499. You can also do half days (5 hours max) for half price. Baths and nail trims are additional charges as is boarding.

For just day care, it’s $25/day.  They have a couple discounted packages though too.

    • 10 days for $225
    • 20 days for $425
    • 30 days for $600

For overnight, it is $45 a night and they get to play with all the day care dogs during the day included in that price.

$9.00 per day – she goes 5 days a week!  She gets to play all day long with other dogs and isn’t alone and sad while hubby and I are working.  It is such a blessing to live in a small town!

ha I just found this thread. I’m so glad to see we aren’t crazy for spending 35-40 a night for boarding! I have searched high and low and while there are discount places out there, we felt a lot better about the middle priced one… I wont say their names, but I do love the option of camper cams. I can log in while we’re out of the country and check on my little stinker and that makes me feel so much better. Also, they tailor and structure the dog’s day to EXACTLY what you want, they give you a little schedule of the dogs day and tell you when they fed/gave medicine or if anything goes wrong. I was super impressed with this place. I’m trying them out next week, I’m hoping that they are totally worth every penny.
