FH have done our guest list and sent save the dates, while we can afford for everyone to come and my budget assumes everyone comes, we are sort of hoping for some no’s. 75% of our guest list if from out of province and there are a few people that we’re confident won’t come (but again – we’re not counting on anything until we get those RSVP’s in 6-ish months).
Did you have anyone say YES that you were sure would be a no?

A few! One of my husband’s fraternity brothers that we haven’t seen in years flew in with his wife and 2 year old daughter – which was pretty darn cool.

Yep! And then they didn’t bother to show up!

We haven’t sent invitations yet but did send Save-The-Date Cards. I sent one to my aunts and uncles on my dad’s side just to be polite. I seriously have only met them all about 3 times in my life. But we decided every aunt uncle and cousin would be invited just to avoid drama. I’ve already had one aunt tell me she’ll be there and can’t wait. I was shocked.

Yep, we had a lot of guests we invited from England who we thought for sure were going to be a no since we had not since them in years. They ended up RSVPing yes and then making a trip over for the wedding. It was so nice of them.
