We did bridesmaids dresses through Dressilyme, and they turned out gorgeous. I don’t have any pro pics yet that show the dresses very well, unfortunately.

ETA: They look really crappy in those pictures, oops. That was the day that I got them and pulled them out of the bags. They looked great in person (and even better once they’d been fitted and steamed).

@FutureMrsHallam:  It’s chiffon. I thought they all looked very nice–comparable to anything I saw in bridal salons. If you’re really that worried about the fabric, you can order fabric samples from them, but that gets pricey. I ordered that color (024 Rose) near blind, except for another Bee who ordered swatches and dresses in that color chiffon and posted tons of photos.

@FutureMrsHallam: The swatches are worth the cost because some of the colors look nothing like they do on the computer. The only way I wouldn’t order the swatches first would be if I could see a picture taken by another bride of a dress or swatch of the color I was looking at like vorpalette did.

I bought three swatches of taffeta and the fabric is lovely. Two of the three swatches did not look anything like the swatch on their website, but one was super close to what I had seen. I am very glad that I ordered swatches before ordering my dress.

I will post pictures of my dress once it arrives since I ordered from DressilyMe over a week ago.

@FutureMrsHallam: If your dress will be made of taffeta, it is lovely. This might sound crazy but I play with the swatch fabric all the time when I am home because it is soft and silky feeling. I can’t wait for me to be in a dress made of this fabric.

My gown was from DressilyMe and it was all over the boards but I took my pics down. They did an AMAZING, and I mean AMAZING job on it. The detail and finishing were exquisite. I seriously adored my dress and the custom sizing was spot-on.

Here is the inspiration, Maggie Sottero Brielle:

@FutureMrsHallam:  Got it! Was it identical?? No. Was it close?? Kinda, maybe? Was it worth the price point? Absolutely.

It still needs to be steamed…and I need someone else to help me try it on and take a pic.
