Evertday I use:

Aussie Kid Shampoo (its a 2 in 1)

Aussie 3 min miracle too!

When I need a boost of moisture or shine I used

BedHead: Moisture Manic

Its A 10

Carol’s Daughter- leave in conditioner (smells amazing)

And I switch up what I use to style so often I can not remember anything. I never truly fall in love with anything.

Suave shampoo or whatever cheap shit my husband bought.

Leftover conditioner from my $6 box of hairdye.

I found some Rusk straightening balm my siser got for me when she worked at a magazine.

Coconut oil and Argan oil spray.

Dove hairspray

I guess you could say I’m low maintenance. I never, EVER wear my hair down. Can’t stand it.

I’m doing a “hair cleanse” so to speak. Growing it out from a pixie. So I decided to try the “no poo” method and use just diluted baking soda to cleanse, diluted apple cider vinegar to rinse. It’s been about 2 weeks and I’m really happy with the results! I do use a hair dryer a few times a week.

A mason Pearson hairbrush (i posted about it on the other splurge thread). They cost ~$160 but are well worth it. No breakage and it evenly distributes oils throughout my hair which is important since I only wash my hair 2-3x per week

I always switch up my shampoos, but usually rotate between Dove, MoroccanOil Extra Volume shampoo, or Herbal Essence color protecting. I try to use the MoroccanOil one more bc it’s better for my hair, but I have SO MUCH hair that I use the 30oz bottles in just a couple of weeks :-/ My favorite conditioner is Pantene’s color protecting smooth. As far as after shower products, I spray It’s a 10 in my hair when it’s wet everyday, then I use the MoroccanOil light oil. I’m convinced I’d shrivel up and die without the It’s a 10 & the MO oil ;). I wash my hair every single day, sometimes 2x a day depending how many times I shower. I have very, very, thick, straight hair.

I have a very short pixie cut, so I use whatever shampoo and conditioner is cheap at the grocery store and smells good. I own a very fancy hair goo for making piece-y spikey-ness, but don’t use it often.

I dye my hair with henna, but I might stop doing that because it’s getting to be kind of a pain… DH likes it though, so… I dunno…

I am currently using:

Wen…as my shampoo/conditioner (love this stuff)

Moroccan oil light (to tame my tresses)

Tigi Rockaholic dry shampoo (for a root lifter)

If I don’t let my hair air dry, I use a Chi dryer & flat iron.

My shampoo and conditioner are both Pantene. The type varies (usual “daily moisture renewal” or “anti-breakage”). After I shower, I use Moroccan Oil on my hair (which I love!!), then blow dry it, and straighten it with my straightener.

I only use three products: Tresemme Shampoo & Conditioner, and Natural Instincts Demi-Permanent Hair Dye.  I find that less is more and since it’s so humid here in FL 9+ months out of the year, hairsprays and gels and mousses tend to just cause my hair to frizz and then stick into an even worse style.  I am hopeless when it comes to actually styling my hair so if I need a complicated or special style I book an appointment and have it professionally styled.

I use Redkin color lock shampoo and conditioners! Love it!

I also use Moroccan oil lite- it’s great for the frizzy strands:))

Loreal EverSleek Shampoo & Conditoner

L’Oreal Advanced Haircare Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm

Aveda Damage Remedy

Matrix Argan Oil

Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum

John Freida Straight Fixation

John Frieda Three Day Straight

T3 Hairdryer

Treseme Heat Protectant Spray or John Freida Dream Cream (discontinued)

Flat Iron

My hair is super thick, frizzy, straight, curly, wavy, basically with no products I look like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket. I spent many years wearing my hair only in ponytails or buns, anything up where I could hide the giant frizz ball. It took years to make my hair look like I just have naturally straight hair and for it not to take hours to style.
