I would hope that I would not resort to violence. I am stronger than the average woman (my biceps are actually the same size as FI’s and he works with lumber for a living) and I fear I could do some real damage in a physical fight, especially if I was upset. I would rather leave some scathing emotional wounds with my words (they last longer if you do it right ;).

I need other.  In a rugby game once, a girl punched my back after a maul/tackle(NOT something that normally happens).  I turned around and said, “DON’T touch me!” and someone had to stop us…but that’s not really a fight.

I guess that’s not really a fight, though.  My best friend and I once started a huge brawl at a bar…that wasn’t us, though.  There were like eight cop cars!!!

In case you want to hear the whole story…

We were at a bar, and my friend said something to another girl about her being dumb (SHE had said something previously about us being “dykes”), and the girl’s boyfriend threw his beer at us (I remember how it sparkled in the light…).  So we followed them outside and the guy was saying, “I wish you were guys so I could hit you!  I wish you were guys so I could hit you!” and the girl was saying, “You go to Villanova!  You’re from Europe!  You wish you had this body!” (while wiggling around).  Our two friends, who were from Europe, were like, “We are from Europe!” but then all of a sudden…a white sedan pulled up, slammed on its brakes, a bunch of guys got out, and one of them punched the guy who’d been yelling at us in the face.  We ran away and “hid” in my friend’s truck and watched the scene unfold…guys poured out of the bar and started fighting…cops started showing up…they were in the middle of Lancaster Ave fighting!!  We stayed in the car for a WHILE and then left.

    WHAHHAHAHHTHTTTTT?  It was so weird.

@MrsPanda99: Nope, never have I ever (in my adult life) gotten into a physical fight with a woman. I have wanted to slap a bitch a few times but I always snap back to reality. I HAVE however punched a guy in the face…… long story short he threw his drink in my perfectly painted face because he thought I had bumped into him at my friends Halloween party….. I think he was in shock because he just walked away haha. I would never recommend violence but sometimes emotions get the best of you.

no and i don’t think that i would ever put myself in a position where i would feel it necessary.

it didn’t happen often but when i was young, i used to phyisically fight with my older sister and my older brother.  i was younger than them but never lost.

I never have been in a fight even as a child with anyone besides my own siblings.  However if push came to shove I would in self-defense if someone acted me first.  Now in that thread you mentioned (I couldn’t read it all, my heart was breaking) I would have thrown something at both of them, not just the girl.

I ran after a girl once and she locked herself in a bathroom.  Had I been given the chance, I would have beat her ass.  I was also in high school.

Since then, I’ve had one person put their hands on me (well, she threw something at me) and as much as I would love to beat the ever-living fuck out of that moron, I didn’t hit her back.

Unless I really needed to defend myself, I can’t see me hitting someone.  I rather put them in jail, because a record like that really fucks up your chances in life.

@MrsPanda99:  Watching “Bard Girls Club” are we? ….nvm, that’s me. *puts head down in shame*

But no, I haven’t. Ever. Actually, I’d shit my pants if some girl charged at me. That thread did make me say that – but like most things on the internet, it’s just talking the talk.

No, but I probably could and would beat the crap out of her if I had to.

No, but I’ve never been in a situation where I would want to/may need to defend myself. I’ve thought about smacking my co-workers once in awhile, but have never actually acted out anything.

Nope, & I can’t think of a whole lot that would elicit such anger in me that I would feel the need to throw the first punch.

But, like my dad always taught me “I won’t start a fight, but you can bet your ass I’ll finish it!”

I’m more of a fight with your words kind of girl.

@MrsPanda99:  Can you add another option? “Yes, when I was under 18” but then again, that would probably count as a “no” in your poll as we were not really women yet. So to sum it up, I got into a couple physical fights with my female friends as teenagers, but never as an adult. I use my words not my fists or claws or teeth…

I have, a couple actually but that’s when I was young and stupid; the last physical altercation was 21. Even though I can be VERY confrontational, I continue to learn to simmer my ass down because people out here are wack jobs and I seriously dont feel like getting killed any time soon!
