Nope. It’s one of those things, to me, tht sounds good in theory but really just messes things up

@Laurenplusalex:  +1 same here. Sounds good but the outcome could be worse.

The only “threesome” I have ever been a part of and think I’ll ever be a part of in my life was when both my friend and I were fooling around with the same guy once – it was just a one night/one time thing and we don’t really talk to him anymore, we also didn’t really do anything with eachother, just with the guy. Another time was me and a friend and her friend put on a strip show for a group of guys, but I don’t think that “counts”….

Yes (not with FI), it was definitely a case of good in theory, less than good in real life. It also stopped any thoughts I may have had about being bi or gay in their tracks. The whole thing was not for me.

@Laurenplusalex:  Ha, that’s how I feel. I have a great idea for a threesome with me, SO and someone that I won’t mention (because SO knows my screenname — even though he knows how I feel lol), but I know it would just be awkward and weird and I have self esteem issues so it’d just get even worse, haha. Surprisingly, it’s not a celebrity. I know a lot of people generally fantasize about celebrities.

I couldn’t vote; I’ve had 2 threesomes and a foursome but all were with men, none of whom were my SO (I was single). I would be open to threesomes with both men and women now I’m with SO, as well as group sex and swinging, but he isn’t keen.

Yes.  Years ago not with my FI. It was with another woman and a guy. It outcome was not bad, but I would not do it again.

No. I have no desire to have images burned into my brain of my FI being sexual with another woman.

@Ibblet:  It didn’t change the relationship at all (and didn’t just happen once). My ex and I could easily separate sex and emotion. It was like bringing a vibrator into bed, except it was a person 😛 Honestly, I know that is a crass comparison but that’s how it was. It was my idea, and my ex didn’t complain.

My FI is not into the idea, and I am “over it” so to speak. I consider it an experiment from my youth and not something I’d like to continue in my married life. That isn’t for any bad feelings or devestating relationship implications – I just really have no desire to participate in anything like that. Each sexual relationship is different and it wouldn’t work for us even though it worked for me in the past – if that makes sense.

EEEEEP, no! To each their own, but not my thing. I’ve always heard they are super awkward, haha.
