Together 5 years, living together 4 years at the time of marriage.
Together 8.5 engaged, married at 9.5 – Living together 7.5
Together: 19 yrs, living together, 18 yrs.
When we’re married we’ll be about 1 month shy of our 2 year dating mark. We don’t intend on living together until perhaps a month or two before we’re married (mostly for logistics sake), though he does stay over approx. 3-4 nights as it is.
Together 6 or 7 years, living together for 5. Our story is kinda funny. We never did anniversaries. We started off dating casually in college in 2008 so we don’t even know when to consider our “start”. We both didn’t want BF/GF in college but next thing we know I’m spending more time at his apartment than mine and it didn’t make sense for me to pay rent for basically just my closet.
We dated for just over 9 years, were engaged for 11 months and got married 12 days short of our 10 year anniversary.
When we get married, we will have been together for 3.5 years and 16 days.
FH proposed 9 days after our 6th anniversary and it will be a week and a half before our 7th anniversary when we get married.
Will be 2 years and 8 months when we get married, so I voted as 3 years.
Your poll doesn’t really work for me as it will be really two months off 6 years when we get married. We were together 4 and a half (roughly) when we got engaged.
We will be one month out of our five year anniversary when we get married next year
I’m surprised 1-2 years is coming out the most common… where I’m from, the average is more like 5 or 6 years!
We got married 362 days after our first date. We met each other about 2 months before our first date.
