For reference, I am 30 now, and live in the city where I grew up. I am only counting people who I actually talk to and see on a regular basis, and not people I keep tabs on through facebook or other forms of social media.
childhood neighbors: 0
summer camp friends, childhood to teen: 0
middle school/junior high: 1
high school: 2
coworkers from high school job: N/A
Junior college friends: N/A
grad school: 0

Almost all of my friends at this point are from my career. I’ve been in the same job for 7 years, and many people there are around my age. Turnover is infrequent enough that I have developed good friendships with many of the people I work with.

@CorgiTales: ahh nice I wish I had hobby friends but I am taking a water aerobics class so it helps a lot with meeting new people.

childhood neighbors: 7
elementry: 5 close friends. I was in the same class with the same kids through most of elementary school, so we were all friends.
middle school/junior high: 5 in 6th & 7th grade, we moved for 8th: about 8
high school: 10 (2 of those I would lable best friends, we did everything together)
coworkers from high school job: 1, we worked at a car dealership and everyone else was much older than us.
College: 11 (5 of those I met through DH)
As I’m getting older I’m enjoying having more friends in different areas of my life. I was always the type to have a couple of really close friends who I did everythig with, but that’s hard to do when life gets busy for everyone.

Most of my friends are from when I was a toddler-high school, at least of the friends I see regularly. I;m still in college but haven’t made tons of friends other than when I lived in dorms for a year- I still talk to many of those people but we all live at least a few hours away from each other.
