Never, we always end with sex. We are TTC so that has a lot to do with it but either way, making out just isn’t enough for me or my husband.

Often, but we both live with family and it’s tough to go farther since we don’t want to be caught

Never, haha. We never really make out at all. We will cuddle and kiss and not have it lead to anything, but we have never just had a makeout session at all that I can recall.

We never “just” make out anymore (outside of when I have my period) and I’m okay with that.

ETA: We do cuddle quite a bit and give each other peck kisses quite often without it leading to something further.

Before we started having sex, we made out all the time. When I’m on my period (we don’t have sex often during that time) we make out a lot. Other than that, making out is used as foreplay for brown chicken brown cow.

Mr. 99 and I make out a lot, and it always happens right before we’ve got to go, so we kind of straigten up and run for the door, he calls it being “The Kiss and Run Nun”  then we spend the rest of the time waiting for a good second to duck into a closet or a dark corner for some more kissy face and then we’ll find some reason to leave early and go home.

I mean, occasionally we make out, do some heavy petting, etc. and then stop if, say, we’re going out to dinner in a bit and don’t want to deal with a quickie. Or just because it’s 10:30 am on the weekend and I’m still in coffee and lounging around mode. But even then usually the expectation is that we’ll have sex later that night and this is just Act I. It’s still fun on its own, and if we end up having a late night/being tired when we get home, it’s really nice to have had that time earlier in the day. But we don’t feel the need to do this artificially because, hello, sex is fun–why would we want less of it?

Probably, like, never.

@Birdee106:  +1. Never. The make-out sessions stopped for me in high school. We are so busy that it’s all we can to find time to be intimate, and I am not going to waste it with just kissing.

We’ve been known to waste away a Friday night or two making out….

But not super frequently. And it’s more about sparking the romance and keeping things fresh than it is about just wanting to make out.

And usually later that night we’ll end up having sex anyway!

Haha NEVER. I don’t think I even enjoy it anymore. DH and I have forgotten how to be really good kissers so we’re like a couple of 14-year-olds fumbling and drooling on each other. It’s terrible! I don’t worry about it, though — we’re totally affectionate and kiss a lot in a non-french manner (and we have a very active sex life) so I think we’ll be okay.

we cuddle a lot and give pecks on the lips, but if it got to making out then we’d both want it to end in sex haha
