I tell my friends I love them all the time. Male and female. Having lost a very dear friend who never got to know how much I cared about her, I make a great monumental effort to let every one of my friends know I adore them and that I think the world of them.

I wouldn’t think he’s into you.

@s2bmrscook:  I was trying to figure out what original thread this was referring to when I read the title haha

@Ap2010:  I say love ya and love you to my husband and to friends. Do you like this person and are HOPING it means something more? If so then I suggest you talk to him and find out 🙂

I tell my friends I love them and it just means I really care about them…I love my fiance in a different way…could just mean he loves you as a good friend and really care about you or it could mean hes loves you more than a friend…could mean alot or nothing at all

I wouldn’t say “Love ya” to a friend of the opposite gender. But that’s just me!

“Love ya” and “I love you” are two very different things.  The former means you’re just a friend.

I agree that you’re totally overthinking this. I say love ya to all my friends, no matter what gender. And +1 @strawbabies, “love ya” and “I love you” mean two different things.

If this is the same guy you’ve asked questions about over and over, no, he is not into you. He is just being nice.
