@canuckandakiwi:  THIS!

I know it’s wedding-y, but I could wear it as a RHR! I love it. Mmm.

I really want something like this

I’d never spend much on jewelry because more expensive doesn’t equal better IMO. And especially not on large rings (over .5 carat). They’d look beyond stupid on my small fingers, not to mention be totally uncomfortable. I need to actually be able to use my hands.

If I had the money I would take a large fancy yellow radiant, have it cut so that it is octagonal rather than square or rectangular, and put it on a white diamond band of my own design.  It would be unique and fantastic.

@LilLis:  It’s from Cartier.  They have a whole “Panthere” jewelry line…which I’m guessing means Panther, although it actually looks more like a Cheetah.  It doesn’t matter…it’s fabulous either way!

An antique, higher karat yg haloed emerald ring, around 1.5 carats.

A 3-4 carat pure red spinel set in a platinum solitaire.

A 2ish carat omc diamond, low color and warm.

3ish carat Pinkish purple pave haloed sapphire in platinum.

And a very light blue sapphire concave cut with a twinkly diamond design as around it. Don’t care about weight, just around 8-9 mm round.
