This is a spinoff about self-esteem- and I wanted to remind you all how much our day-to-day media consumption is NOT real life!
I know there’s a documentary of Cindy Crawford in real life before/after makeup, and I thought I’d give you guys mine.
Real life, no makeup or hair done, 4 hours of sleep:
I think too many women are hard on themselves because of airbrushed magazines, thinspiration/fitspiration, and an unattainable level of beauty.
I hope this helps put things in persective, and to remember to love yourselves the way you are!!!!
Do you think your self-esteem is affected by magazines/TV? Does social media and seeing friends constantly with beautiful pictures of their hair/makeup done make you feel less pretty?
