My parents have too much clutter, so I am trying to give them clutter-free gifts. For example, for their birthday in the spring, I give them a grass-cutting service which they love. I would like to hear what you are giving your dad and FIL, and any other suggestions. Thanks!

Well, my dad is a big techie like me, so this Christmas I am making him some touch-friendly gloves for his iPhone, also I will be baking him a tin of wasabi crackers.
I like to give practical gifts that I know people will actually use. Honestly I think that’s the best way to go, really. So usually I tend towards food, clothing, or kitchenware.

I haven’t given my dad a Christmas present in years, and I’ll let FI worry about his dad.

I got my dad a new camera and got DH’s dad a keurig (his coffee maker is dying).

I’m giving my mom & dad a combined Christmas present, a lovely customized photobook I made for them on Shutterfly with pictures of our family through the years and a letter in the back telling them how much they truly mean to us. We got a nice bamboo cutting board for my fiance’s dad because he loves to cook and grill and we’re going to woodburn a message into it. 🙂
