@MissPine:  Tourists, dirty crowded beaches, racist locals. Sorry, I am not a big fan of Hawaii. The weather is nice sometimes, but pretty much everything else is awful. Its expensive and over crowded and traffic is horrendous.  I cannot wait until we get to move back to the mainland. I am on Oahu though, and ive heard the other islands are seriously paradise compared to Oahu. Definitely need to visit another island before we go. =)

@MissPine:  Unfortunately it is. Ive been yelled at in parking lots before while I was just walking into a store. Ive also been cut off and yelled at while driving. I dont do or say anything to the locals, I have several friends and even my neighbor that are Hawaiian and they are awesome, but there are a lot of locals that dont want non hawaiians here, and they let you know!! Ko Olina is pretty, I do like the beach there, but it can get pretty crowded sometimes. I dont understand why people stay in Waikiki though, I hate that beach! Lol. After almost 4 years here I am ready to be somewhere a little less hostile. And traffic is killer, ive spent hours on the highway for a 20 mile drive. Its so crazy!!

I’ve never been to Hawaii and when I think of the islands I immediately think of Pearl Harbour; hula dancers, grass skirts and coconut bras; volcanos; and sharks.

I have two friends who have moved to Hawaii for work within the last year or so, so when I think of Hawaii I think of jealousy! Seriously, they post the most amazing pictures from their day to day life. Looks really pretty.

Oahu: traffic, meth, no love for Haoles.

Maui: beautiful but expensive

The Big Island: Waimea, ranchers

Kauai: rain, rain, rain, the best scenery, no jobs
