I like the Evan Williams store bought eggnog (liquor store that is).  It’s 15% alcohol, how can you go wrong?  Not sure if you meant the store-bought alcohol-free variety sitting next to the milk or not.

I do want to try making my own, but will have to wait until next year since I’m pregnant.

@AB Bride:  Nope it comes at room temperature!  I do put mine in the fridge when I get home so it’s all ready but you can store it (unopened I assume?) at room temperature.

Last time I had regular eggnog with added spiced rum I actually didn’t like it as much as the Evan Williams pre-mixed one.

@kes18:  +1 on the Evan Williams and with all this EggNog chatter I think I might be getting some for later!

The egg nog imported directly from Ireland that our favorite pub carries. Heaven!

@AB Bride:  There IS an almond milk nog out!

I tried it and didn’t like it, but I don’t like ANY nogs haha! Every year I get every (vegan) kind just to try, because I REALLY like the idea of it, but something about it.. Everyone I know who likes nog and has tried it likes it though! I found it at Whole Foods.

@AB Bride: Stupid question warning here – Is it actually eggy?

@AB Bride:  There’s coconut milk nog too, might be an option if you can’t find the almond. I think I’ve seen rice milk nog too! Plenty of nondairy options for sure.
