Terrell, which few can figure out how to spell or pronounce despite Terrell Owens' fame.

Mike. The odd thing is his family all call him Michael, but through school and outside the family people call him Mike. Same with his brother (Christopher/Chris). I always feel "wrong" calling him Mike in front of his family!

And speaking of neat family name things, my mom's first husband's family did this thing where they named all the sons James ____ (middle name), and they were all called by their middle name. Kind of cool. So my brother's name is James Matthew, and we call him Matt. (This has died out on our side since they are now divorced and my brother's children are all girls).

    Nick!

His parents adopted him, and he was originally supposed to arrive from South Korea around Christmas, so they had the name Nicholas picked out :) He didn't arrive until January though.

Matthew  :) but he goes by Matt. Our son is matthew and goes by Matthew. I made a stink since my son was born that people call him is full name. My name, btw, is marie so we all have M's. Our dog is matilda. so even our dog has an M name. We didnt name her either, her previous owners did so that was just a coincidence. So we will be picking an M name if we have another baby.

Jordan. Which is kind of funny because growing up, my best friend's older brother was named Jordan, and I was convinced I had to marry him (because at eight, I didn't think I'd ever meet anyone else). This fact terrified me because I didn't like him. And now I think it's funny that I ended up with a Jordan after all, though a much better one. :)

@Stammie16: My FI's name is Jason, as well.

I hardly ever call my FI by his first name though...as weird as it sounds, I usually use some form of his last name, except when I'm really mad at him.  He calls me by a variation of my last name as well.

Robert, but he likes Rob. It's interesting, though; His family and friends he grew up with call him Robert, but friends from University and so on and my family all call him Rob.

Matt/Matthew.  What's funny is our dog's name is Maddy (short for Madison), which she came with, I just changed the spelling.  And his entire family always laughs and asks me how I get don't confused between Maddy and Matty.  But I don't and never would call a grown man Matty - he's not 6 anymore!  lol.

Steven. He goes by Steve though. I call him Steven when talking to him and Steve when talking about him. It's weird and I don't know why I do that.

Samuel Peter (his parents are Mark and Mary, teeheehee). I call him Sam and so does everyone from college onward. But in school he would yell at people and say "MY NAME IS SAMUEL!". When he was growing up he was always the tinest kid, so it's kind of funny :)
