When I first joined? to get wedding ideas.

Now? To kill time… and it makes living in a newish place less difficult when I have other people to badger besides DH.

Joined for the wedding ideas. Stayed for a nice community to be a part of and waste time on, because it will be handy in a few years when I start TTC, and for the football threads with @Mrs_Amanda:, lol.

To kill time, I’m home all the time now (on break from school) with my son and it’s a borefest.
I happen to love weddings/babies/and all things related so it entertains me now and then.

Originally for wedding ideas, but I stayed for the overall great advice on anything and everything!  It’s a place to talk and FI works A LOT, so it’s a good way to pass time  🙂

I first joined to get wedding ideas/advice.  Now even though I’m not TTCing, I love reading the baby stories and will most likely continue to stay to get/give advice as we move into our first home and start a family.

Also, it kills time! LOL

Originally for wedding ideas and reviews, now because I like the topics and social interaction. I don’t have many friends and I basically live on campus all the time (but I’m not college age – and I actually have my own place off campus) so I really have nobody to talk to during the in-between class times. And also I have nobody to really talk to from the time I get home to the time FI gets home, lol.

That, and I really don’t have many real life chick friends because I don’t generally like chicks, haha!

I found WB after I was married when I was searching new settings for rings and just fell in love with the parts of the site that have nothing to do with planning a wedding.  The lounge, pets, rings, etc.  I have met some super great people on here and plan to stick around 🙂

I have an obsession with jewelry (rings in particular) so I stumbled across the Bee that way. Now I’m hooked 🙂 Makes for a great rainy afternoon time killer.

I first joined when i was waiting for the proposal and it was nice knowing a bunch of other girls were going through the same thing.

Then as i was planning the wedding it was nice knowing other girls were aboout to pull thier hair out with planning.

Now i just like to give advice and look forward to being a part of the POAS club in the future

I found it while searching for E-rings. I joined and stay for the community. I work alone all day and FI often works nights so I am alone at night too. Talking to the bees makes me feel less isolated and I have learned a lot about relationships, etiquette, and babies that I didn’t know before. It also gives me something to do when work gets boring. For instance I have been watching something drip for the last 2 hours and adding more buffer when appropriate. It is not mentally simulating.
