I think I have pregnancy-related carpal tunnel (awesome) so my fingers feel puffy and tingly, even though they don't look fat.

At 17 weeks, I can't button my pants and feel comfortable, but maternity pants are still too big and the bella band sometimes makes me too warm.

If I exercise too hard/too much I get lots of achy pains, feel out of breath and sometimes a little sick to my stomach.

Feeling gross has me feeling down, which makes me a sour puss at home. And I'm feeling like I don't want to do this again . . .

And I never got to bid a proper farewell to two of my loves: vodka and wine. So sad.

40 weeks today! (Comfy in there, huh? No sign of baby making his exit...)

    - yes! Pregnancy carpal tunnel sucks! Typing isn't too bad, esp on an iPad but holding a pen? Torture!!

    - the swelling, the crazy leg/feet swelling. First I couldn't wear any shoes, now even pants are limited. Google "pitting edema pregnancy" it's so crazy and uncomfortable.

    - bed rest! Enough to make you mad... starting to feel like I'm going crazy after 3 weeks in the house not being able to do anything but lie on my left side.

    - stretch marks just after 38 weeks! wtf really? And they are on one thigh and one thigh only

    - not fitting into any clothes or shoes and feeling really unattractive and huge

    - no margaritas since March

The easiest thing for me was labor and being a Mommy! My pregnancy was wow. I had morning sickness all day ever day for 9 months. But there's nothing like the pregnancy bliss and love that you get from Family and Friends! I was spoiled rotten lol

I have not slept for more than 2 hours straight in 16 weeks. I have to pee so much it is riduculous. I don't know where it all comes from.

    40 weeks and 4 days.

I do not remember what ankles are. I feel fat all the time; I crave a real workout but don't have the ability to move properly. I now have people calling me every day for an update on the status of my cervix (see my other post). Being home all day with no baby is LONG. Oh, and I don't know why, but I keep waking up at 4:15 in the morning as if it was time to get up... Probably the lack of exercise.

I am 39 weeks today and I have to 2nd rachiecakes- the pregnancy carpal tunnel SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!  My fingers have been tingly and numbish for the past 4 weeks :(  And my feet are so swollen there is nothing that brings the swelling down.  You can push your finger in my foot and it leaves an indentation.  They also look so very disgusting.  I'm embarrased that they are a part of my body!

@Lolasmomma: it's hideous, right?? For the past two weeks I can make those dents in my shins! lol

Gotta say though, it's good to know my calves have that much water weight. I was really down about the weight/swelling but from what I hear water weight goes away pretty quick. I'd be really pleased if I could wear shoes/boots and pants again.

Oh I have the denty shins as well, I've had them for over 6 weeks now.

It's funny how people keep telling me how I didn't put on weight - I think to myself: it's all in my shins and ankles! I guess it may be a positive thing, I mean, better than in my face right? :)

It sucks that I haven't been able to wear my rings in 6 weeks or more now. I actually went to buy a fake one that is a size 7 instead of my 5.5 and it still is tight sometimes.

My breasts really did not need to get bigger!  Seriously, I started out as a D!  The extra weight has been causing some serious upper back pain!

Oh, and to sleep on my stomach again!

Oddly, I really miss certain cheeses, although I wasn't a huge cheese person before I got pregnant.  Just knowing I can't have them makes me want them I guess!

@mommytobee: I was going to buy a fake ring too (I've had friends get nasty looks because they weren't wearing a wedding ring and their husband was - hello, I doubt he's shopping with his pregnant mistress!). But if the puffiness stays and I continue to feel sucky, I don't think I'll have any problems with convincing myself it's okay to guilt my hubby into buying me a real replacement (like a nice band or early mother's ring) to wear in the meantime that could then move to my middle finger after the baby comes.

@simpleandchic: Thanks for starting this thread - when you feel like crying, reading that you're not alone in feeling miserable can strangely put a smile on your face.

@Goldilocks1107: I originally wanted to go for a nice stackable band with our son's birthstone, then get one with mine and one with my husbands... and eventually have one for our second child later on.  But I couldn't find what I wanted at all, and even if I did, I'm not sure that it would have had a price tag that would enable me to convince my DH that it's a great present...

He knows I'd like that in the future though, if I can find it!

So I went for a 20$ sterling silver thin band with 3 CZ instead. I quite like it.

And yes ladies, keep your stories of misery coming! brightens my day!

@mommytobee: aww my wedding ring :( I only got to wear it for like 7 months, too! lol My size 4.25 finger doesn't even fit a 6 now! I'm wearing it on a chain around my neck

Oh! I also have made a list of what's "not fair" for the times when my son will complain that something's not fair. The list includes not being able to see my friends open for Pearl Jam at PJ20 with all my other friends because I was too pregnant to fly and that I was only bed rest for Black Friday - my favorite holiday - and couldn't shop. I can't remember ever not shopping on Black Friday. Not fair!

@mommytobee:  My wedding rings are a 5.5 and I haevn't been able to wear those for the past 2.5 months :(  I bought a cheap set in a size 7 and I wore those for about a month until when I took them off- I had a green band around my finger!  LOL!  I'm not wearing any rings now.  I work in a customer service position so I always make sure to talk about my husband so my customers know that I am married jbut ust too large to wear my rings!
