Go you! At least you had the balls to bring it up and get a concrete answer...well almost concrete. I feel like if he KNOWS your "due date" if you will, and loves you and is proposing...he will definitely do it by that date!! Crossing my fingers!!! <3
For myself...we both know it's coming...we talk about our wedding...nothing is hidden...BUUUT I'm too much of a chicken to say "soo uhh...when do you think you're gonna put a ring on it buddy" Lol. I feel like i just need to shut it and let it happen. ahhhh!
The end of the summer wont be October yet so just be patient because it sounds like it is coming!!!

Ladies-
Brief update on my situation. This past weekend I spoke with my SO (he is all about surprising me) and got some encouraging news. I basically asked him if it was going to happen this year and without saying "yes" he alluded to it by saying "there is a very strong possibility". (He did say this in a way where he knew he was tourturing me) I know you dont know the two of us but for me that was him telling me without being obvious.
I asked if was going happen next month (March = 5 years & my personal timeline) He said no, which I was expecting, I know he doesnt have the $$ saved yet. Then I asked him "Before October?" and he said "Sooner than later, that's all you need to know". He did also asked me to send him my powerpoint slide I made of rings I like (LOL - I know this is ridic)
Cross your fingers ladies, I am going to be a hot mess if something doesnt happen by the end of the summer.
