@Ryansgirl:  Hmm, hopefully a better Bee can help. I didn’t have any spotting…do you have any cramping along with the spotting? How long ago were you on BC, if at all?

@Ryansgirl:  I didn’t spot the month I got pregnant, but every now and then, prepregnancy, I would spot for a week or so before AF. Not sure why. It would just be a little bit, mostly on toilet paper. I did research one month and implantation bleeding is supposed to be quick, like a day or two at most, and then stop. However, everything also says that most things aren’t “normal” or “abnormal” in pregnancy.

I had cramping and actual bleeding after I got pregnant.  Mine lasted 3 days or so, it was like my normal periods.  My normal periods (on BCP) were really light and lasted 3-4 days (like if I used regular tampons one would last me the whole time allowed at my heaviest–I use a cup though).

I don’t think what happened to me is very typical, but it’s obviously possible!  Most of the time it’s just some light spotting for a few days.  But light spotting somewhat normal throughout the first trimester, too.

i started spotting when i started TTC.  i never spotted before and so far it has been every cycle, yet AF still arrives.  it had varied to 2 days prior to 4 days.

@Ryansgirl:  I usually spot anywhere from 2-4 days before AF.  Not much, just a bit when I wipe.  The annoying thing is I also get it on the tailend of AF too.  Not full on flow and no need for a tampon, but enough to need a liner for an extra day (sorry if tmi!)

I spot every month during my luteal phase and it varies. On average it starts around 7dpo but this cycle I’ve started already and I’m only like 3 or 4 dpo. It’s is infuriating and the doctor just says it’s my “normal”. I’ve always had issues with spotting even when on birth control. It stopped when I was on the nuva ring which was awesome but not long after I stopped it it started back up again. I do believe it’s due to a hormonal imbalance but haven’t gone that far with testing, after the wedding maybe if we are still having trouble conceiving.

Hey bees….

I vave this happen too but this cycle is started at 7DPO. Every website I have read and TCOYF say that spotting is fine as long as it is AFTER 10 days of high temps. (if you aren’t charting then this doesnt really help).

There is no way I get 10 days of high temps since I’m spotting as early as 3 dpo. I don’t temp now but will start after the wedding when TTC will be my #1 priority.
