Go on your date and when you start having sex, say “Oh, I was spotting a little bit earlier so there may be a little blood. Is that ok with you?” Just go have fun, Bee! IMO, it would be really strange to text him that before meeting up. Even if you were on your period, you would just tell him before the sex, not before the meet up. At least that’s what I’d do. Have fun!

quickquestionbee1 :  Beside the point (which you are over thinking by the way), but if you’re just casually hooking up with someone, why are you on a wedding website? I never understand that…

quickquestionbee1 :  Thank you for an honest answer! I’m always curious. Hopefully your guy understands basic female anatomy and knew this would happen at some point in time! I would just mention it if things start to heat up!

Yeah just go and have fun. I’ve yet to have a partner where periods or whatever were a problem to them.  Just do whatever you want to do and you can mention it to him as a matter of course.

quickquestionbee1 :  I’d do like a PP suggested…don’t make a big deal out of it, go about your time together as normal, and then when you start to get intimate just let him know you were spotting a little earlier and is he cool with it? If he’s a douche about it he’s probably a douche in real life and you could do better. 😉

No man wants to talk lady problems but a man who cares about the girl having the ‘lady probs’ will do so kindly and with understanding. Enjoy your time together!

As PP have suggested I would only mention it once sexy-time is imminent, and even then I’d just say something like, “I was bleeding a little bit earlier, hope that’s OK?”

To be honest I’ve never been with a guy who’s had a problem with periods, that I know of!

You’re definitively over thinking this 😉 just go and have fun. The spotting might lighten up during sex or get a bit worse but I wouldn’t let that ruin my fun. Things happen, don’t make a big deal out of it, take a shower together after!
