my wedding is in june 2010. my issue is if the sun is anything like this summer has been i may end up with some weird tan lines for the first time ever in my life right before the wedding.
i am a very pale person with freckles, we are talking transparents see my veins sort of deal. and in the summer i burn. this year i burned faster then i ever have before… and i was slathering on sunscreen and sunblock. my skin is just that sensitive.
i am wondering if anyone has had a spray tan that is super pale like me and wouldnt mind sharing photos… the good, the bad, and the ugly orange. were you able to go a little golden.. not mocha brown sort od deal.
and does anyone have places to suggest in the Vancouver, BC area.

I live in Vancouver as well – this summer has been one for the books for heat!
Like you, I have very fair skin with red hair and freckles. I tend to burn rather than tan, but tanning is possible (I notice, but others don’t hahaha). I actually pre-tanned before being a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding for 2 months at Fabutan. I was concerned that it wouldn’t even work for me where I was so fair, but I actually tanned quite nicely (for my skin of course). I went three times a week starting with 6 min per session, working up to 10 minutes per session.
A friend of mine regularly spray tans but here is a big caveat – it tends to rub off on your clothes. So if you were to spray tan prior to your wedding, I would be worried it would rub off on your dress. Perhaps other people who have spray tanned prior to their wedding can share if this happened to them or not.
I was really pleased with the results I got through Fabutan and intend to do it for my own wedding (also June 2010, but on the East Coast). I will see if I can find out any more spray tanning info for you from friends.
